Bottom attachments: Swivel casters/fixed casters allow for easy movement of even heavy shelves — a very practical upgrade accessory.

8. Structure:
"Butterfly Hole" Column Snap-on Type (Most Common): The column is covered with holes resembling butterfly wings. The triangular fasteners (or connectors) of the shelf are directly snapped into the holes, then tightened with a rubber mallet. Advantages: Stable connection, easy adjustment, neat appearance.
Threaded Slot Type: The inside of the column has spiral grooves. The plastic or metal clips of the shelf are screwed into the grooves for fixation. Advantages: Quick installation, but adjustment may not be as precise as the butterfly hole type.
Pin Type: Holes are drilled at corresponding positions on the column and beam, and metal pins are inserted directly for fixation. Advantages: Extremely simple and straightforward, yet extremely stable — commonly used in heavy-duty shelving.
9. Material: High-quality cold-rolled steel is preferred; thickness is crucial. The thicker the steel in the uprights and shelves, the stronger the load-bearing capacity. Inquire with the seller about the specific steel thickness (e.g., 0.7 mm, 0.8 mm).
10. Processing: Generally electrostatic powder coating. The coating should be uniform, smooth, and free of particles. Common colors: white, off-white, and blue.
